The Girls

Reign has a quiet way of being in charge. She's thoughtful, incredibly smart, and seems to understand everything happening around her. While the others may busy playing, Reign is usually observing, making sure everyone is where they should be. She's patient, gentle, and has become the foundation of everything we hope to preserve in our breeding program.

Roxie lives life at full speed. She's completely ball obsessed, always ready to play, and has enough energy to power the whole house. While she's a little socially awkward when meeting new people, at home she's all fun, zoomies, and nonstop entertainment. If you've ever wondered what a prairie dog on 4 shots of espresso looks like... its probably Roxie.

Vixen is sweet, playful, incredibly smart, and completely devoted to her people. She loves playing with her siblings, supervising every game of fetch without ever actually retrieving anything, and insists that an empty lap belongs to her. She has little interest in making new friends -- Vixen already has her people, and according to her, that's plenty.

Sadie is everything I hoped for when pairing Reign and Bowie. She is incredibly smart, confident, playful, cuddly, and genuinely loves everyone she meets. She has the perfect balance of her parents -- Reigns brains with Bowie's happy go lucky nature -- and is just an incredibly well adjusted little dog. She makes everything easy, loves being part of whatever is going on, and has truly become our ideal example of a dachshund temperament.

Prima is Reign's daughter through and through. She is smart, confident, and full of opinions -- which she has no problem sharing. She's sweet and playful with just the right amount of sass, and somehow manages to be demanding in the most endearing way possible. Her name is Prima, short for Primadonna, and the older she gets, the more I realize how perfect that name is for her.
